Les Parapluies de Cherbourg

Catherine Deneuve was 17 and became a big, famous moviestar with this movie. So we must be incredible humble and thankfull for making it. Especially because it's EXTREMELY good too. I didn't know they had so much humour those days. And even though they sing the whooole movie through (i swear, every little conversation, even something stupid like: 'give me the potaaaatoeeeeeeees'), it never irritates. It's just absurd and super-duper-styled and truely sad and pretty at the same time. It's about unreachable true love. And a mean, harsh, soul-less mothers. At the end, Catherine dies rich but paid the price of losing the love of her life.
You will cry when you see.
